The Bluff City Arts Alliance (BCAA) was founded in 2023 to celebrate our regional artists and inspire creativity in rural communities in Southeast Alabama. This includes exposure to a variety of media, including performing art, visual art, music, poetry, and martial arts. We see the arts as tools to tap into the creative capital of our residents and as an engine for rural community revitalization. The BCAA will encourage collaboration with local businesses and organizations to offer arts and culture programs that bring people together, attract tourists, and demonstrate measurable economic impact. By deepening and developing the unique identity of our small towns, we aim to become weekend destinations for surrounding cities. We will also mentor the next generation to find innovative ways to work and live in small towns, as they are special in their charm, friendliness, and proximity to nature.
